TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona's track & field program released their indoor schedule on Wednesday. The Wildcats will be traveling to five different cities, which include Flagstaff, Ariz., Birmingham, Ala., Seattle, Wash., Albuquerque, N.M. and New York, N.Y.
“I'm really excited to see how our team flows with some of the young talent that we brought in,” head coach Fred Harvey said. “We return a few top throwers in the country as well as the addition of sage Watson, who will really help our relays. April Sutton will do some really good things for us as well. On the men's side, Carlos Villarreal will be a nice addition to have as he was one of the top high school mile runners in the country. Hunter Davila can also be an unsung hero for us as he was a multi time state champion and is a very underrated athlete. Viktor Gardenkrans will also bring a lot to the table for us and Bryant O'Georgia will be big as he was a 7'2” jumper out of high school. With all that and bringing back Pau Tonnesen for his last indoor season, we should be a very formidable group.”
The season opens up on Friday, Jan. 15 as Arizona visits Flagstaff, Ariz. to compete in the Lumberjack Invitational. The week after that, the team heads to Birmingham, Ala. For the Conference Clash/Power 5 Invitational from Friday, Jan. 23 to Saturday, Jan. 24.

On Friday, Feb. 12 and Saturday, Feb. 13, the team will be split up at two meets. Half of the squad will be in Albuquerque, N.M. for the Don Kirby Invitational while the other half will be in Seattle for the Husky Invitational.
