TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona continues its fall campaign this weekend, as it will send four players to compete in the Balloon Fiesta Invitational Tournament in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The tournament will be hosted by the University of New Mexico and will run Friday through Sunday, with match play beginning at 9 am MST each day.
Will Kneale, Will Adkisson, Matt Dunn, and Trevor James will represent Arizona in the event
All four Cats are participating in separate singles draws, while Will Adkisson and Trevor James will play as a tandem in the doubles draw of the tournament.
The tournament will host players from New Mexico State University, Air Force Academy, Northern Arizona University, Abilene Christian University, University of Arizona and Denver University, and New Mexico University.
In singles play of the first round, Will Kneale will face Strahinja Trecakov from New Mexico State University, Trevor James will face Paul Damanski from Abilene Christian University, Will Adkission will take on Adi Zilberstien from Northern Arizona, and Matt Dunn will play Donovan Celliopica from New Mexico State University.
Will Adkisson and Trevor James will represent the Cats in doubles play, as they will face the tandem of Zilberstein and Lee from Northern Arizona.
