Two former Wildcat greats will take part in this year's Major League Baseball postseason, as Robert Refsnyder will play for the New York Yankees and Mark Melancon will be a part of the Pittsburgh Pirates' 25-man playoff roster. The Yankees begin their postseason journey against the Houston Astros in the American League Wild Card Game, Tuesday at 5 pm PT on ESPN, while the Pirates will take on the Chicago Cubs, Wednesday at 5 pm PT on TBS in the National League Wild Card Game.
The Arizona women's golf team stormed back Wednesday to finish tied for first at the Windy City Classic. The Wildcats finished 12-under par to split the title with host Northwestern and Georgia.

After splitting the first two weekends of conference play, 14th-ranked Arizona, begins a four-game road trip in which the four teams have a combined 52-8 record. Already having faced five top-20 teams in an 18-day span, Arizona will now face three of the nation's top 12 teams in 11 days, beginning in the Evergreen State. UA and No. 6 Washington meet on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. before the Cats head to Pullman to take on Washington State on Friday at 6 p.m. MST. Both matches will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks.
