Joelle Krist Named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week

Arizona's trip to Palo Alto marked a return home for the nearby Petaluma native. The freshman did not disappoint her family and friends in attendance as her bat came alive, helping Arizona sweep Stanford for the third straight year. Krist hit .500 with a home run and three RBI. After entering the weekend without a multi-hit affair in her career, Krist had back-to-back two-hit games on Saturday and Sunday, including a home run and three RBI in the process. The freshman slugged .800 in 10 at-bats.
