2012: Did not compete in his first year at Arizona while recovering from an injury.

Before Arizona: Redshirted the season at Colorado Mesa in 2011.

 

High School: Lettered in football (offensive line) and track and field (shot put/discus) at Chaparral High School  … Named honorable mention all-region in 2011 … Team won back-to-back-to-back state championships and earned a 14-0 record during senior year.
