2013: Played in all 13 games … Served as holder on PAT and field goal attempts … Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention … Held for placekicker Jake Smith to complete seven PAT and three field goals to set a school record for points in a game by a kicker (16) in the 58-13 win at UNLV.

2012: Redshirted the season.

Before Arizona: Recorded a 3-4, 2-1 WAC record as the signal caller at Louisiana Tech … Believed to be the second-youngest quarterback to start the team's first game of his true freshman year in NCAA history (second to David "Moon" Walker of Texas A&M in 1973) ... Was 155-for-257 for 1,457 yards with eight touchdowns and seven interceptions while running the ball 49 times for two touchdowns ... Played inside receiver late in the year where he caught two passes for 13 yards ... Made his first career start at Southern Miss where he was 20-for-36 for 176 yards while also punting twice for an average of 38.5 yards ... Threw for 318 yards and two touchdowns with a game-best 72-yard touchdown pass as he was 22-for-37 with one interception while also driving Tech down the field 72 yards in the final two minutes to tie the game and force overtime in a 48-42 OT win over Central Arkansas ... Guided Tech to overtime in a hostile SEC environment with a 29-for-40 for 233-yard performance at Mississippi State with one touchdown pass ... Passed for three touchdowns and 305 yards as he went 29-for-51 with two interceptions against Hawaii ... Passed for 163 yards in a 25-for-39 outing with one touchdown at Idaho ... Caught two passes for 13 yards against No. 15 TCU in the Poinsettia Bowl.

High School: Rated as a three-star athlete by Rivals.com ... Chosen as a 2010 Old Spice National High School Player of the Year, an honor won in the past by Cyrus Gray (Texas A&M), Garrett Gilbert (Texas), Jacquizz Rodgers (Oregon State), Andy Dalton (TCU) and Tim Tebow (Florida) ... Posted a 73.0 percent completion percentage his senior year and a 74.1 percent completion percentage mark his junior year ... Three-year starter that threw for over 6,200 yards in his career ...
