Wildcats Continue Homestand

TUCSON, Ariz.The Arizona women’s tennis team (4-0) will host three matches, including a double-header on Friday, Feb. 7 and a single match on Saturday, Feb. 8. All three matches will be played at Robson Tennis Center.

The Cats will host Grand Canyon (0-1) at 10 a.m. on Friday and will then take on UTEP (1-2) at 2 p.m. Saturday Arizona will match up against Sacramento State University (0-3) at 11 a.m.

Last weekend, Arizona swept its three matches against San Jose State, 4-0, New Mexico State, 4-0, and San Francisco, 6-1. 

The great start to the season has been highlighted by the play of senior Kim Stubbe and freshman Lauren Marker, who have both not lost in singles action.

Grand Canyon will be making the trip down for their first season in the Western Athletic Conference. The Wildcats defeated Grand Canyon last season, 6-1.

UTEP will be matching up against the Cats coming off their first win of the season over UTSA.

Defending Big Sky Champions Sacramento State will be making their way to Tucson again this year. The Wildcats defeated the Hornets last year, 7-0.
