2015: Indoors, Kibet set a personal best in the 800-meter race at the MPSF Championships with a time of 1:48.85, good for a third-place finish … Took first in the 800-meter race at the Lobo Collegiate Open with a time of 1:50.29 … Ran the mile in 4:04.93 and earned a second-place finish … Outdoors, set a personal best in the 800-meter race at the ASU Invitational with a time of 1:46.87, good for a first-place finish … Took second at the Pac-12 Championships in the 800-meter race with a time of 1:47.06 … Competed at the NCAA Championships in the 800-meter race and clocked a time of 1:50.35, good for a seventh-place finish … Won the 800-meter race at the Arizona-ASU Dual meet with a time of 1:51.18 … Set a new personal best in the 1,500-meter race at the Stanford Invitational with a time of 3:43.86 … Finished in first place at the Arizona-ASU Dual meet in the 1,500-meter race with a time of 3:48.25.

2014: Indoors, Kibet redshirted the season … Outdoors, Kibet recovered from an injury and returned to action for the Wildcats at the UA-ASU-NAU Double Dual … He ran the 800-meter race in 1:50.08, good for first place … At the Pac-12 Championships, Kibet finished in 11th place in the event with a time of 1:51.40 … He competed in the preliminary round of the 1,500-meter race at the Pac-12 Championships, clocking a time of 3:57.08 … At the NCAA West Preliminaries, Kibet ran a time of 1:49.75 in the 800 meters, good for a spot in the quarterfinal … In the quarterfinal, Kibet’s personal-best time of 1:49.19 was good for 14th place overall, just missing a spot in the semifinal at the NCAA Championships. 

2013 (XC): As a freshman, Kibet was the top finisher for the men’s team four of the six races he competed in … He won the Dave Murray Invitational with a time of 21:29.89 in the 4.25-mile race … He finished in 24th place overall at the Roy Griak Invitational with a time of 24:55 in the 8,000-meter race … At the Pac-12 Championships, Kibet’s time of 25:39 in the 8,000-meter race was good for 17th place overall.

HIGH SCHOOL: Kibet graduated from Patrick’s High School in Eldoret, Kenya … He has no competitive running experience.

PERSONAL: He is the son of Grace and Peter Kibet … He has seven sisters, including current Wildcat Elvin Kibet, and two brothers, Robert and Ian … He is a pre-business major.
