TUCSON, Ariz. – The Pac-12 Conference announced the 2015 football schedule on Tuesday. The Wildcats will host six home games at Arizona Stadium and will travel for six road games. UA’s bye week will come on Nov. 28, 2015.
Arizona will open the season on Thurs., Sept. 3 hosting UTSA in its only weekday game of the season. The Wildcats travel to play at Nevada on Sat., Sept. 12 and will wrap non-conference play hosting NAU on Sat., Sept. 19. UA has won 12-straight non-conference games dating back to the 2011 season, a new school record since UA first established conference affiliation in 1931 (Border Conference).
The Wildcats open conference play on Sat., Sept. 26 hosting UCLA. Stanford returns to the schedule in 2015 for a tilt in Palo Alto, Calif. on Sat., Oct. 3. Arizona last faced the Cardinal during the 2012 season.
The slate continues with Oregon State, who also returns to the schedule, on Sat., Oct. 10 in Tucson. UA will play at Colorado on Sat., Oct. 17 followed by a match-up in Tucson against Washington State on Oct. 24. The month closes with a trip to Seattle to play at Washington on Halloween.
November opens with a contest at USC on Sat., Nov. 7. The Cats host Utah on Sat., Nov. 14. The annual Territorial Cup game with Arizona State will be played on Sat., Nov. 21 in Tempe. Arizona’s lone bye week of the season falls on Sat., Nov. 28. The Pac-12 Championship game will be played on Sat., Dec. 4.
This Saturday (Sept. 20), the Wildcats will play in front of their home crowd for the second-straight week, opening Pac-12 play against California at 7 p.m. MST. Hosting a #WhiteOut, the game will be televised on Pac-12 Networks and carried on the Arizona IMG Sports Radio Network.
