Wildcat Cross Country Schedule Announced

TUCSON - The 2011 competition schedule for the University of Arizona Wildcat men's and women's cross country teams was announced by head cross country coach James Li on Tuesday.

The Wildcats will open the season with the George Kyte Classic at Northern Arizona University on Sat., Sept. 3. On Fri., Sept. 16, the Wildcats host the Dave Murray Invitational. On Sat., Sept. 24, the Wildcats will travel to Minneapolis for the Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by the University of Minnesota. On Fri., Sept. 30, the Wildcats will run at the ASU Invitational in Tempe. The regular season will wrap with the Wisconsin Invitational on Fri., Oct. 14 in Madison.

The championship portion of the season will start on Sat., Oct. 29 at the Pac-12 Championships in Seattle. The NCAA West Regional Championships will take place on Nov. 12 at Stanford, in Palo Alto, Calif. The season will conclude with the NCAA Championships, Mon., Nov. 21, in Terre Haute, Ind., on the campus of Indiana State University.
