Four players scored in double figures, but Arizona women’s basketball (1-4) fell to Pacific (3-2), 75-66 on Saturday in Stockton, Calif.

Senior Kama Griffitts led the Wildcats with 16 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals. Griffitts was 4-of-9 from the three-point line putting her at 47 percent (14-of-30) from behind the arc in five games this season.

Freshman Breanna Workman recorded career-high numbers, scoring 12 points and grabbing eight rebounds.

Junior Candice Warthen posted 11 points and senior Erica Barnes added 10 in her season debut.

The Wildcats took a 23-10 lead in the first 13 minutes of the game, but the Tigers went on an 11-0 run and tied the score going into halftime. Pacific’s 14-0 run at the eight-minute mark of the second half gave the Tigers the edge and Arizona could not recover.

Pacific shot 64 percent from the field in the second half, including a 57.1 percent mark from the three-point line. Previously, the Tigers averaged 39 percent from behind the arc.

Kendall Kenyon led Pacific with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The Wildcats will have a quick turnaround as they will return home to host Wake Forest for the annual field trip day. The game will be on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 11 a.m. at McKale Center.
