Game Storylines
» No. 2/3 Arizona returns to McKale Center to take on Oregon with a two-game lead at the halfway point of the Pac-12 season; dating to last season, UA has won nine of its last 10 Pac-12 games.

» The Wildcats are 70-11 (.864) overall and 34-7 (.829) in conference games at McKale Center under head coach Sean Miller; UA enters Thursday’s game in the midst of a 17-game home winning streak.

» Since the start of the 2012-13 season, Arizona has spent 27 weeks ranked in the top 10 of the AP poll; the Wildcats recently wrapped up a program-record run of eight-straight weeks as the poll’s top-ranked team.

» Now in his fifth season in Tucson, Miller continues to honor a process that has seen him lead UA to a Pac-12-best 101-29 (.777) record since the start of the 2010-11 campaign.

» Having forged its identity on defense throughout the season, Arizona heads into the week ranked sixth nationally in field goal percentage defense (37.6) and fifth in scoring defense (56.8); the Wildcats lead the nation in effective defensive efficiency, allowing just 86.3 points per 100 possessions.

» Arizona’s interior defense has been stellar, limiting opponents to 40.4 percent shooting inside the arc to lead the nation in two-point field goal percentage defense.

» UA employs a balanced offensive attack, having had at least four double-figure scorers in 14 of its 22 games; the Wildcats are recording an assist on 57.7 percent of their baskests this season and rank 35th nationally in adjusted offensive efficiency.

» Paced by T.J. McConnell’s Pac-12-leading 2.9 assist-to-turnover ratio, Arizona ranks 28th nationally with a 1.39 ATR on the season; that mark would be the best of Miller’s tenure in Tucson.

» Arizona has won the rebounding battle in 19 of its 22 games this season and ranks sixth nationally with a +9.5 rebound margin; UA is one of only three teams nationally to rank in the top 20 in both offensive (.390) and defensive (.736) rebound percentage.

» Arizona has four players averaging at least 1.9 offensive rebounds per game as UA outscores its opponents by an average of 6.5 second-chance points; UA is outrebounding team 13.3-7.3 on the offensive glass in its last three games.
