TUCSON, Ariz. – University of Arizona senior center Steven Gurrola has been named to the 2014 Rimington Trophy Watch List, given to the nation’s best at the position. Gurrola is one of six Pac-12 players earning recognition from the Boomer Esiason Foundation on Tuesday.
In his first year with the Wildcats, Gurrola started all 13 games at center in 2013. The Wildcats’ offense averaged 33.5 points per game, totaled 311 first downs and averaged 458.5 yards of offense per game.
