TUCSON, Ariz. – University of Arizona football hosted its inaugural Lift for Life in conjunction with its Uplifting Athletes chapter supporting Cystic Fibrosis Southern Arizona. In total, Arizona’s chapter of Uplifting Athletes has raised $3,850 in support of Cystic Fibrosis.
The team of Calvin Allen, Jacob Alsadek, Mickey Baucus, Keoni Bush-Loo, Marcus Griffin, T.D. Gross, Terris Jones-Grigsby, Hunter Layton, Jake Matthews, David Price, Jerrard Randall, Antonio Smothers and Parker Zellers raised the most money among the Wildcat teams.
Individually, William Parks was the top performer among the skill players, Scooby Wright was the top performer among the linebackers, running backs and tight ends and Dan Pettinato was the top performer among the line players.
Donations to support Uplifting Athletes and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Southern Arizona are still being accepted. For more information, click here.
