Arizona head coach Vicky Maes and the women’s tennis team revealed the 2013-14 season schedule on Friday.
In the spring season, the Wildcats will take on 14 ranked opponents, including three in the top 30, three in the top 10 and the defending national champion.
Arizona will open its season with Northern Arizona on Saturday, Jan. 25 and follow with five-straight home matches, including No. 63 San Jose State, New Mexico State, Grand Canyon, UTEP and Sacramento State.
UA will hit the road to take on No. 18 Texas Tech and No. 75 Georgia State in Lubbock, Texas before returning home to host No. 59 San Diego and No. 41 San Diego State.
The Wildcats then will head to Seattle to take on Seattle University before opening their Pac-12 season against No. 46 Washington.
Before continuing conference play, Arizona will host No. 27 Purdue at Robson Tennis Center and then Washington State and No. 69 Oregon.
The team will then travel to Palo Alto, Calif. to face the defending national championships, Stanford, before traveling to Berkeley to take on No. 9 California, returning home to host No. 58 Utah and Colorado and hitting the road again to take on No. 7 UCLA and No. 6 USC in Los Angeles, Calif.
The Wildcats will close their season to host No. 26 Arizona State in Tucson.
Arizona will return every player in 2014, stocked with upperclassmen with four seniors, one junior and two sophomores.
