TUCSON, Ariz. The 39th-ranked Arizona men's tennis team left American scoreless, 7-0, Friday at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center. The Cats are now 8-5 overall, while the Eagles fall to 2-10.

Junior Alex Aybar clinched the match for the Wildcats, defeating Jason Moon at the No. 1 position, 6-3, 6-3, while at the No. 2 spot Senior Michel Stopa beat Josh Procacci, 6-7(2), 6-2, 6-3.

At the No. 3 spot in doubles and No. 6 spot in singles the Wildcats earned points due to a default.

The Wildcats return to action Friday when they travel to California to play Stanford, at 1:30 p.m.
