Guard Gilbert Arenas:
"It was the first time for everyone so I was a little bit nervous in the beginning. Then, I got through it and I was calm in the second half. It was good to get out there and run and run tonight because that's what we do best."
"As guards we have to do our jobs when people double team on our guys down low. I think we did good job of that tonight."
"Everyone is really fighting for positions on this year's team, so Coach Tention sat me down and told me that I need to move around in the lanes instead of standing and waiting for things to come to me."
Guard Jason Gardner:
"I think we're going to be just fine this year because Mike (Wright) and Loren (Woods) can score on anyone down there in the post and our wings can definitely hold their own."
"I think Coach Olson saw a lot of good things tonight, but also a lot of mistakes. Gilbert played a great game tonight. He's a great offensive player but he's also a great athlete period. He did a great job for a freshman."
Forward Richard Jefferson:
"Ricky and I have been battling the entire year. He keeps me on my toes and puts pressure on me every day. Everyone talks about Luke coming in here and lighting a fire under me, but Ricky is the one that has really improved."
"I'm glad I got a lot of dunks tonight, but I know that's not going to happen every night. It was nice, but tonight was an exception."
