Wildcat Women's Basketball Player Released from Team

TUCSON, Ariz. (Feb. 5) -- University of Arizona women's basketball player Tysell Bozeman has been released from the team, head coach Joan Bonvicini announced on Monday.

The junior guard has been released from the team for failure to comply with team rules and regulations. She had previously been suspended for two weeks early in January for related reasons.

Bozeman played in 16 games for the Wildcats this season, starting 12. She averaged 9.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.

Arizona is currently 16-5 overall and 6-3 in Pac-10 play. The Wildcats begin the second round of Pac-10 action this weekend, playing at Washington on Thursday, Feb. 8, then at Washington State on Saturday, Feb. 10.
