TUCSON, Ariz. - The Arizona women's golf team maintained its spot at No. 1 for the sixth consecutive week in the latest MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings released today. In addition, four Pac-10 teams are listed among the nation's top ten.

Individually, three Arizona golfers are ranked in the top-10. Senior Jenna Daniels regains the No. 1 spot, senior Jill Gomric holds No. 8 and sophomore Cristina Baena is No. 9. Junior Christina Monteiro is No. 30 and freshman Julia Kraschinski is No. 60.

The Wildcats are currently playing in the Dr. Thompson Rainbow Wahine Invitational in Hawaii at the Olomana Golf Course, a par-72, 5887 yard layout. After day one of the tournament Arizona finds itself in third place trailing Pepperdine and Southern California. Play resumes today and will be completed tomorrow with a 11:30 a.m. MST shotgun start.
