Live Half-Hour Show Determines Post Season Destiny For Arizona Softball Team

For the first time in the network's history, FOX Sports Net is televising the 2000 NCAA Division I Softball Selection Show. The 30-minute live show premieres on Sunday, May 14, at 6:30 p.m. (MST/PDT).

Produced by NCAA productions with FOX Sports Net graphics, the 2000 NCAA Division I Softball Selection Show is hosted by Beth Mowins.

The University of Arizona is currently ranked No. 2 in the country and owns a record of 50-7 overall. It is in second place in the Pac-10 Conference with a mark of 13-4. The Wildcats will close out the regular season this week by playing at Stanford on Friday at 2 p.m. and then have a doubleheader at California on Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m.

The first game of the UA's doubleheader at California will be televised live on Fox Sports Net.
