Arizona Diving Completes Arizona Invitational

TUCSON, Ariz. - The University of Arizona men's and women's diving team completed the second and final day of the Arizona Invitational. Participating in the event along with the Wildcats were Arizona State, Northern Arizona and Brigham Young.

On the men's side junior Ruben Vaca captured first place on the three meter scoring 342.25. Sophomore Scott Koenig placed third with 293.35 points, while senior Arno Bergstrom placed fifth scoring 288.55 points. Freshman Alex Vollelunga (263.55) and Josh Anderson (257.20) placed seventh and eighth respectively.

Seniors Lindsay Berryman (242.20) and Adrian David (241.30) placed second and third on the one meter with Kelli Einfeldt of BYU placing first (254.05). Juniors Sara Quijano and Hazel Johnson placed eighth and ninth scoring 214.80 and 213.15 points.

The next outing for the Wildcats will be in a dual meet against California on January 19 at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center.
