Arizona Pulls Out Win Over Utah

TUCSON, Ariz. - Arizona freshman Leneah Manuma's three-run home run lifted the Cats to a 8-3 win over Utah on Friday at Hillenbrand Stadium. Arizona improved to 35-2 on the season, while Utah fell to 18-14.

The Wildcats scored in the bottom of the second by Allison Andrade's two-run homer. Arizona added two more runs in the third and another home run in the sixth by senior Lindsey Collins. The Cats have 82 homers on the season and 22 times they've hit multiple ones in a game.

Utah's Niki Hayhurst hit a long ball in the top of the fifth to put the Utes on the board and added two more in the top of the sixth.

Junior Jennie Finch struck out 10 batters on the mound and improved to 12-0 on the year.

The Cats return to action Saturday to take on Utah at 7 p.m. at Hillenbrand Stadium.
