TUCSON, Ariz. -- Athough Oregon had a 27-16 shooting advantage, the University of Arizona women's soccer team played the Ducks to a scoreless overtime tie in front of a crowd of 737 at Murphey Stadium on Sunday.

Arizona junior forward CHRISSY SANFORD (Newbury, CA/Newbury Park HS) recorded a game-high-tying five shots, while sophomore forwards KRISTI LOROA (Tucson, AZ/Canyon del Oro HS) and TIFFANY SABADO (Kaneohe, HI/James B. Castle HS) had three shots each. Oregon sophomore forward Chalise Baysa tied Sanford for the game high with five shots.

Wildcat junior goalkeeper INGER AIRHEART (Roseville, CA/Oakmont HS) recorded a career-high 11 saves to earn her second shutout of the season and ninth of her career. Duck goalkeeper Amanda Fox tallied nine saves and shutout number three on the year.

This is the second scoreless tie and third overtime game of the season for Arizona. The Wildcats have tied the school record for number of ties in one season (two), and they have set a new school mark for fewest losses in a season (10). The tie also marks the first time in the program's six-year history that the Wildcats have not ended the season with a loss.

Arizona wraps up the 1999 season with a 7-10-2 overall record and a 1-7-1 Pac-10 mark. Oregon ends its year at 7-11-1 overall and 3-5-1 in Pac-10 play.
