In a poll of all the Pacific-10 Conference head women's basketball coaches, the University of Arizona women's basketball team has been picked to finish fourth in the Pac-10 standings for the 1999-2000 season.
For the second year in a row, UCLA is the predicted conference champion, receiving eight first-place votes, followed by Oregon, which tallied a pair of first-place nods.
Arizona was picked by the coaches last year to finish in fifth place, and the Cats proved the poll incorrect by garnering a fourth-place finish with a 12-6 league record. UCLA and Oregon were last year's co-champions with 15-3 Pac-10 marks.
