The biggest party in Tucson will be happening on Saturday, Mar. 4, at the McKale Center as the University of Arizona women's basketball team takes on defending Pac-10 champion Oregon in the Cats' final home game of the season. Game time is 2 p.m.

As part of the "Spirit Day" activities, a "Battle of the Bands" featuring the bands from several local high schools will be held during the game. All youth, high school age and younger, will receive free admission to the contest.

In honor of the five Wildcat seniors, the push is on to break the attendance record and put more than 5,000 fans in the McKale seats for the first time in school history. A special post-game ceremony will be held to honor those seniors, who have helped bring the Arizona progam into national prominence.

Before the game, a cheerleading clinic sponsored by the Arizona cheer squad will be held on the McKale Lawn, to the north of McKale Center. Those interested in participating in the clinic can receive information by calling Lawrence Murray at 621-6030.

Plenty of tickets are still available and can be obtained by calling the UA Athletic Ticket office at 621-2287.

"Spirit Day" is sponsored by the WB58.
