SUNRIVER, Ore. The University of Arizona women's golf team finished the first day of the NCAA Fall Preview in third place after an 18-hole score of 299, 11-over-par. Duke leads after the first day of the three-day event with a score of six-over-par, 294, at the Crosswater Golf Club(Par 72, 6502 yards).

Senior Jenna Daniels is tied for first place with Arizona State's Miriam Nagl after the first day of play with a score of two-under-par, 70. Sophomore Cristina Baena is tied at 11th place shooting a 74, two-over-par, while senior Jill Gomric is tied for 33rd posting a 77, five-over-par. Junior Christina Monteiro and freshman Julia Kraschinski are tied for 41st place scoring a 78, six-over-par.

Play resumes tomorrow morning with a 9:20 a.m. tee time for the Wildcats.
