Lute Olson to Appear on "The Last Word with Jim Rome" Friday Night at 6:30 P.M.

For those University of Arizona basketball fans who can't go to Minneapolis for the NCAA Final Four, Fox Sports Net is the network to watch for in depth coverage of the Wildcats run for a second national title.

Beginning on Friday, March 30 at 12 p.m., Fox Sports Net is going to telecast both the Arizona and Michigan State basketball press conferences live from the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. UA head coach Lute Olson and selected Wildcat players are questioned from 12 - 12:30 p.m. and MSU head coach Tom Izzo and selected Spartan players meet the media from 12:30 - 1 p.m.

Later that night, Arizona head coach Lute Olson makes an appearance on THE LAST WORD WITH JIM ROME on Friday, March 30, at 6:30 p.m.

After that, the full hour of Friday night's Arizona basketball coverage is highlighted by a live 30-minute FSN produced Final Four preview show from the Nicollett Mall in downtown Minneapolis, beginning at 7 p.m. Sean Mooney of the ARIZONA SPORTS REPORT is the host. Besides highlights and analysis of the UA's season, the show features a media roundtable discussion that includes Arizona radio play-by-play announcer Brian Jeffries, Arizona Daily Star columnist Greg Hansen and Tucson Citizen beat writer Steve Rivera. UA undergraduate assistant coach Josh Pastner is also scheduled for the show to talk about the team.

Just like he has done throughout the Wildcats march to the Final Four, Sean Mooney files nightly reports for the 11 p.m. REGIONAL SPORTS REPORT, while Kevin Frazier and Marques Johnson also report live from Minneapolis for the NATIONAL SPORTS REPORT

Following the Arizona/Michigan State national semi-final on Saturday, March 31 (tip-off is 3:42 p.m. MST), FSN will carry the postgame press conferences live. The telecast begins shortly after the conclusion of the game. Should Arizona beat MSU and advance to Monday night's national championship game, Fox Sports Net plans to televise Sunday's Arizona press conference live, beginning at 9 a.m.
