Arizona Men's Golf In 13th Place at Golf World Invitational

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - Arizona's men's golf team shot a second round of 286 to move into 13th place in a tough field at the Golf World Invitational at Hilton Head Island, S.C on Saturday.

The Wildcats were paced by sophomore Reid Hatley, who shot a second round of 69 and stands tied for 21st place at 140. Junior Cody Beyer continued his solid play with his second round total of 70 and is currently in fifth place with a two-day total of 135.

Georgia continues to lead the tournament after shooting a second round of 275. Individually, Anders Hultman of Oklahoma State paced the field and is in first place at 12-under-par.

Sophomore Ricky Barnes carded a second round of 75 and comes in at 79th place. Arizona's two freshmen competing this weekend, Chris Nallen and Andy Connell, are tied for 72nd and in 88th place, respectively.

The Golf World Invitational wraps up action Sunday. Play begins at 7:30 a.m. EST.
