Scouting the Cardinal: Stanford carries a 13- match winning streak into its contest with Arizona. The Cardinal have dominated the series with the Wildcats coming out on top in 35 of the 36 meetings between the two squads. UA's lone win came in a 5-4 triumph on Feb. 21, 1987. SU has four players and two doubles teams ranked in the latest polls- Laura Granville (No. 1), Gabriela Lastra (No. 16), Kaiko Tokuda (No. 32), Emilia Anderson (No. 89), Lauren Kalvaria and Lauren Barnikow (No.1), and Granville and Lastra (No. 8). Scouting the Golden Bears: Tenth-ranked California enters the week playing host to Arizona State before entertaing UA. Freshman Racquel Kops-Jones (No. 47), and sophomore Christina Fusano (No. 96) head the list of ranked players on the squad.Since 1985, Cal holds a 22-8 advantage over the Wildcats. Cal has won six in a row over the Cats. Arizona last defeated California on April 12, 1997, 5-1.
