    TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Erica Gomez scored 19 points, including four clutch 3-pointers, to lead No. 12 UCLA to a 79-68 victory over No. 16 Arizona on Thursday night.

    Gomez sealed the outcome with free throws down the stretch, but her 3-pointer with 3:15 remaining put the Bruins up 67-59.

    Tatum Brown and Felecity Willis each scored 16 points for Arizona (14-3, 3-2).

    UCLA (10-4, 4-0 Pac-10) also got Maylana Martin's 19 points while Janae Hubbard added 14 and Nicole Kaczmarski 13.

    Martin, the Bruins' leading scorer and rebounder, was saddled with four fouls for most of the second half.

    The Wildcats led 43-42 with nine minutes remaining, when Hubbard began a 9-0 UCLA run with an offensive put-back.

    The Wildcats never got closer than five down the stretch and made just 7 of 14 free throws in the final six minutes.

    UCLA led 39-32 at halftime by holding Arizona without a field goal for the final 7:18.
