TUCSON--Nebraska (52-20), the No. 2 seed, batted around and erupted for six runs in the third inning to ease past South Carolina, 9-0, Saturday night and give the Cornhuskers a rematch with host Arizona in the NCAA Region 2 softball title game.

USC (41-28), the Southeastern Conference Tournament champion making its 10th NCAA appearance, was eliminated.

Jenny Voss (23-9) held the Lady Gamecocks to six hits in pitching her 10th shutout.

Nebraska took a 1-0 lead in the first on an unearned run when Kim Ogee led off with a single, moved to second on a groundout, to third on a passed ball, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Jennifer Lizama.

Jamie Fuente's three-run home run highlighted the Huskers' third inning. Nebraska, beaten 13-0 by Arizona in the semifinal, would have to beat the Wildcats twice Sunday, starting at 1 p.m.
