TUCSON, Ariz.- The Arizona women's tennis team ran into the hottest team in the country and were swept 7-0. The undefeated Stanford Cardinal won all six singles matches and took the doubles point with a three match sweep. The loss drops the Cats to 6-13 for the season and 1-9 in Pac-10 play.

Laresa Marino and Perrine Pernin, playing in the no. 4 and no. 5 spots, both went three sets before falling.

The Wildcats return to action April 21, with a match up against rival Arizona State in Tempe.
