Arizona head coach John Mackovic had some praise for the offensive line following the Wildcats' eighth session of spring practice Thursday.

"Those guys (on the offensive line) really worked hard. We're missing some players there, but they gave us a good effort," Mackovic said.

UA ran through 2:20 minutes of full pad action.

Mackovic also cited senior tight end Peter Hansen, who caught two touchdown passes in skeleton goal-line drills.

The Wildcats take Friday off for Football Alumni Weekend festivities and will return to the gridiron Saturday for a scrimmage in Arizona Stadium, at 10 a.m.

The team is allowed 15 spring practices under NCAA guidelines and will conclude spring drills with the Spring Game on April 21 in Arizona Stadium.

All spring practices are open to the public. Most are scheduled on the practice facility at North Campbell Avenue and Enke Drive, across from McKale Center, but the Spring Game and some other sessions will be held in Arizona Stadium.
