Criner Earns All-America Honor

Arizona junior receiver Juron Criner earned second-team All-America honors by CBSSports.com today.

He was one of six Pac-10 Conference players to be cited. Oregon running back LaMichael James, Stanford center Chase Beeler and UO return man Cliff Harris earned first-team nods, while Criner, defensive tackle Stephen Paea of Oregon State and Ducks' linebacker Casey Matthews were named to the second team.

Criner is the Pac-10 leader with 73 receptions and 1,186 receiving yards and will help lead Arizona against Oklahoma State in the Dec. 29 Valero Alamo Bowl in San Antonio.

The Wildcats' bowl opponent placed a pair of players on the cbssports' squad, with first-team honors going to receiver Justin Blackmon and running back Kendall Hunter earning second-team honors.
