TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Arizona men's basketball player Josiah Turner has been suspended for Wednesday's game at Florida due to violations of team policy.

"Josiah will not play in Wednesday's game at Florida," said UA head coach Sean Miller. "We will meet with him when we return to campus to discuss what his obligations to this program are moving forward."

A 6-foot-3 freshman guard from Sacramento, Calif., Turner has appeared in seven games for the Wildcats this season.

The Wildcats (6-2) return to action on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 12th-ranked Florida. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST and can be seen nationally on ESPN.
