TUCSON - The Arizona men's golf team will head to Albuquerque, N.M. for the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, Oct. 1 and 2, held at the par-72, 7,566-yard UNM Championship Golf Course.
Arizona joins BYU, Colorado, New Mexico (A and B teams), New Mexico State, North Texas, Northern Colorado, Pepperdine, San Diego State, Toledo, Utah, UTEP, UTSA and Wyoming to make up the 16-team field.
Arizona's lineup will be Tarquin MacManus, Jonathan Khan, Eric Oja, Philip Bagdade and Sean Jones. Jones, a freshman out of Hoffman Estates, Ill., will be making his Arizona debut. Oja, also a freshman, is competing in his second event with the Cats. Arizona will also be sending Juan Pablo Hernandez, Ben Esparza and Trent Redfern to compete as individuals. This will be Esparza's fist tournament, as well.
36 holes will be held Friday, Oct. 1, and the final 18 will be played on Saturday, Oct. 2. For live scoring, visit www.golfstat.com.
