DAYTONA BEACH , Fla. ?C The Arizona womenˇ?s golf team is tied for 18th place after two rounds of play at the NCAA Championships.? The Wildcats carded a 314 (+26) on Wednesday, ten strokes above their first round total.? Duke took over the top spot after shooting a one-under par 287 in the second round, while previous leader Southern Cal moved into fifth place.? Duke now has a seven stroke lead over UCLA.


Christel Boeljon of Purdue leads the individual field after two rounds of play with a total score of 141 (-3).


Sophomore Amanda Wilson is tied for 31st place with a score of 151 (+7).? Fellow sophomore Adriana Zwanck is one stroke behind Wilson and currently sits in a tie for 36th place.


Junior Mary Jacobs moved into a tie for 79th place with a second round score of 78 (+6).? The Godfrey, Ill., native now has a total score of 157 (+13) after 36 holes of play.


Junior Alison Walshe is currently tied for 87th place after carding an 81 (+9) on Wednesday, bringing her total score to 158 (+14).


Freshman Brittany Benvenuto is tied for 120th place with a score of 167 (+23).


The tournament continues tomorrow, with a third round tee time set for 8 am.
