Arizona Women Upset Stanford, 68-65

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Elizabeth Pickney scored 18 points as Arizona upset No. 21 Stanford 68-65 Saturday night for its second straight victory in Maples Pavilion.

Reshea Bristol added 12 points for the Wildcats (12-2, 2-0 Pac-10), who defeated a nationally ranked team for the first time this season. Arizona's losses have come against ranked teams.

Nicole Powell had 15 points and 11 rebounds and Cori Enghusen added 12 points for Stanford (7-5, 1-1), which lost its first home game of the season.

Candice Allen added 11 points for Arizona, which won its fifth straight and 10 of its last 11.

The Cardinal maintained a slim lead through the middle of the second half before the Wildcats used a 10-0 run over a four-minute span for a 60-54 lead. Aimee Grzyb put the finishing touches on the rally with a short jumper with 5:59 remaining.

Stanford tied the game at 65 with 3:23 to go.

LaKeisha Taylor and Bristol combined for three free throws as Arizona took a 68-65 lead with 36 seconds remaining.

The Cardinal failed on three attempts to tie the game as time ran out.
