Wildcats Travel To North Carolina for World Cup Diving Championships

The Arizona men's and women's diving team have selected two of their top athletes to compete in the FINA World Cup Diving Championships which will take place on Thursday, Jan.15 in Huntersville, North Carolina.

Freshman Mary Yarrison and senior Josh Anderson will represent the Arizona diving team. They will compete amongst the nation's best to be selected for the World Cup Diving Championships in Greece at the end of February.

According to Head coach Michele Mitchell-Rocha, "Both divers are as qualified as anyone to compete in the Championships. However, They are up against the best divers in he nation. This is an Olympic year so everyone is at the top of their game."

The Wildcats will continue their season when they travel to Berkeley, Calif., to face the Bears on Jan. 23 at 1 p.m.
