Three Women's Tennis Players Appear in ITA Rankings

TUCSON, Ariz. -

Three Arizona women's tennis players are ranked in the top 125 in singles and a doubles duo is in the top 60, the ITA announced Friday in the Preseason Women's National Tennis Rankings.

Sophomore Lacey Smyth (Oceanside, Calif.) was the highest-ranked Wildcat at No. 105, while seniors Natasha Marks (Nottingham, England) and Sarah Landsman (Syosset, N.Y.) were ranked No. 107 and No. 120, respectively. In addition, Landsman and Marks were ranked No. 40 in the doubles poll.

The womens' fall season will kick off with the ITA Regionals on Oct. 20 in San Diego, Calif.
