Arizona Baseball Ticket Information

TUCSON, Ariz. - The 11th-ranked and Pac-12 leading Arizona baseball team has nine regular home games remaining on the schedule, including a three-game set against East Tennessee State and conference showdowns against Oregon and Arizona State next month.

The Wildcats own a 26-13 overall record and a 12-6 mark in Pac-12 play, which is one game better than No. 10 Oregon and No. 12 UCLA, which are both 11-7 in conference. The Ducks (May 4-6) and No. 23 Arizona State (May 25-27) visit Hi Corbett Field in May for the final two conference series at Hi Corbett Field.

Arizona has enjoyed a tremendous home field advantage in its new home ballpark this season, winning 19 and dropping just seven contests. Surely the highlight thus far was a three-game sweep of then-No. 2 Stanford earlier this year before some of the largest crowds Arizona has drawn for baseball games in decades.

For the three games against the Cardinal (March 30-April 1), a total of 10,656 passed through the gates. The last time UA surpassed 10,000 for a three-game series was May 15-17, 1992, when the Wildcats closed out the regular season with a three-game sweep of Arizona State in front of a combined 13,466 at Sancet Field. That was also the last season Arizona hosted an NCAA regional.

In 2012, the Cats have drawn 57,889 fans in 26 games (avg. 2,226), a significant increase over the 36,412 fans at 33 home games (1,103 per game) a season ago. To this point in the season, Arizona's total and average attendance figures are the best for any of the 11 Pac-12 schools with baseball programs.

Fans planning to attend the remaining nine games on the schedule are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance online and print them at home to avoid the game day rush at the ticket office prior to first pitch. Anyone who purchases a ticket at home or work through the print-at-home option can simply bring their printed ticket to the game and immediately walk up to the gates without visiting a ticketing counter or Will Call window.

Tickets are on sale now at www.arizonawildcats.com. Fans may also secure their tickets by calling 520-621-2287 or by visiting the McKale Center Ticket Office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Hi Corbett Ticket Office opens one hour prior to the first pitch of each game.
