<FONT size=1><B><FONT size=1> <P>Teeing Off: </B>The No. 10 Arizona women&rsquo;s golf team will tee-off Friday through Sunday, March 30-April 1 at the PING/ASU Invitational in Tempe, Ariz.</P><B> <P>The Course: </B>Karsten Golf Course streches 6,230 yards and is a par 72.</P><B> <P>The Field: </B>The 17 team field includes No. 10 Arizona, No. 2 Arizona State, California, Long Beach State, Missouri, No. 15 New Mexico, Oregon State, No. 8 Oklahoma State, No. 4 Pepperdine, No. 9 Stanford, No. 20 Texas A&amp;M, Tulsa, No. 12 UCLA, UNLV, No. 6 USC, No. 7 Vanderbilt, and Washington. The strong field includes seven teams in the top-10 and ten teams in the top-25 according to the most recent Golf World/NGCA Coaches Poll.</P><B> <P>The Schedule: </B>18 holes will be played on Friday and Saturday, with tee times scheduled for 8am. The Wildcats shot a three day total of 899 (+35). Leading Arizona individually was junior <A class=ARTICLELINK href="/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=578965"><A class=ARTICLELINK href="/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=578965"><A class=ARTICLELINK href="/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=578965"><A class=ARTICLELINK href="/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=578965">Alison Walshe</A></A></A></A> who finished in fourth place after carding a tournament total of 222 (+6). The tournament champion Texas A&amp;M shot an 897 (+31).</P> <P>With the highest finish for Arizona, Walshe maintains the lowest stroke average on the squad. Zwanck was the only Wildcat to garner an individual title during the 2005-06 campaign.</P><B> <P>Last Year&rsquo;s Champion: </B>UCLA was the team champion of last year&rsquo;s event, with a total score of 865. </P><B> <P>Rankings: </B>Arizona is currently ranked 10th in the <I>Golfweek </I>Performance Index. Seven teams are ranked in the top-10 and ten teams are ranked in the top-25.</P><B> <P>Top Flight: </B>The Wildcats finished in the top 10 at each of the four events that they participated in during the fall. Arizona has also placed an individual in the top 10 six times throughout the fall, with two first-place finishes by Allison Walshe. Through three tournaments in the spring, the Wildcats have continued their streak by adding three more top 10 finishes to their record at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge, the Wildcat Invitational, and the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational.
