EUGENE, Ore. -- The No. 21 Arizona volleyball team won its second-straight match, a 3-0 sweep (30-26, 30-16, 30-14) of Oregon tonight. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 10-6 overall and 2-4 in the Pacific-10. Arizona hit .339 on the match and held the Ducks to .000.
Senior Kelli Mulvany recorded a match-high 18 digs and in doing so became just the eighth Wildcat ever to eclipse the 1,000-dig mark. She now has 1,005 on her career.
Sophomore Meghan Cumpston led Arizona with 18 kills and eight digs, followed by junior Kim Glass with 15 kills, 11 digs and three blocks for her fourth double-double in six matches. Sophomore Kristina Baum notched nine kills on .615 hitting, while junior Bre Ladd finished with seven kills and six blocks. Setter Stephanie Butkus had a complete night, finishing with 36 assists, six digs, three kills and three blocks.
