"Fear Is What Stops You. Courage Is What Keeps You Going." – Unknown
Hey GymCat Fans!
With Thanksgiving rapidly approaching the team is getting better and better. Every week the team is perfecting our skills and nailing routines. Even though we were short one day of practice this week we were able to put the three practice days to good use. There are so many quality routines going on in the gym already that it makes you wonder how much the team will be able to accomplish once the season actually starts.
On our last day of practice the team was surprised with a vault intrasquad and bar intrasquad. With eight vaulters we were able to see what our line-up could look like based on the different types of vaults performed, and the mistakes that need to be fixed. It showed how much talent we have on vault, however in order to accomplish our goals we have to be able to perfect our form and landings. On bars we put up 10 routines. Some routines were perfect, while others need just a little bit of work. Regardless, it shows us that by the time January comes we will be even better.
Day by day the team is looking better and stronger on every event. We are going to use all the time we have left to perfect our skills so we are able to show everyone that we have the potential to go as far as possible. Lastly, with the amount of talent that we have in the gym the 2012 season should be a great one – so get ready!
