????????????TUCSON, Ariz. ?C The third-ranked menˇ?s swimming and diving team will open the new year by hosting SMU and Washington in a double dual meet at Hillenbrand Aquatic Center at 10 a.m. on Friday. The fourth-ranked womenˇ?s team will follow the menˇ?s action with a four-team meet beginning at 2 p.m. featuring Northern Arizona and Pac-10 foes Washington and Oregon State.

????????????Both Wildcat squads have had over a month off since taking part at the Texas Invitational Nov. 29-Dec. 1, and are eager to get back in competitive modes.

????????????ˇ?Weˇ?re excited to get back in the water in a competitive atmosphere,ˇ± Arizona head coach Frank Busch said. ˇ?Weˇ?ve been training very hard for the past couple of weeks and it will be good for all of us to go up against some quality teams.ˇ±

????????????The womenˇ?s team won its last meet in Austin, Texas, outdistancing second-place Stanford by nearly 100 points, while the menˇ?s squad finished second to only host school Texas in the competition.
