TUCSON (AP) - Arizona's Ivan Radenovic scored a career-high 26 points and Marcus Williams had 16 as the Wildcats knocked off Oregon State for the 24th straight time at home in an 80-58 victory on Saturday.
The victory was Arizona's second straight at home after dropping three consecutive games coming into their brief homestand, while it was the Beavers' sixth straight loss. Arizona (15-9, 8-5) also received 10 points from Kirk Walters.
Oregon State (10-14, 3-10) was led by the 16 points from Sasa Cuic, but he had only one in the second half. Kyle Jeffers and Nick DeWitz chipped in with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
Oregon State tried desperately to stay within reach despite 25 turnovers as Jeffers scored to cut the deficit to 11 with nearly nine minutes remaining.
Arizona responded with Walters converting with an inside-move and Williams hitting from 16-feet away to stop the last Beaver surge. Radenovic had reached his previous high of 20 points just three minutes into the second half when his lay-in put Arizona ahead 54-35 as part of a 10-2 run out of the halftime break.
Oregon State closed to within 11 with eight straight points, including a pair of buckets from DeWitz, but then Radenovic and Williams went back to work. The pair, which scored 40 of the team's initial 64 points, ganged up on the Beavers and Williams' dunk with 12:30 left gave Arizona a 56-43 edge.
Radenovic provided the Wildcats with an offensive put-back and a 6-foot jumper to give Arizona a 60-46 lead.
Arizona had built a 44-33 lead at halftime, with Radenovic scoring eight points in the Wildcats' 13-2 run in the final 3:44.
Radenovic was virtually unstoppable with a pair of jumpers, two free throws and a put-back to finish off his 18-point first half outing.
While the Beavers had no answer for Radenovic, the Beavers relied on Cuic to score 15 of Oregon State's points.
