Throughout the Arizona Wildcat women's golf season, senior Alejandra Llaneza will keep a weekly blog about life and golf in the Pac-10. Check back for more updates from Ale!
Hello Wildcat Fans!
We just finished playing at Rancho Bernardo in San Diego. We finished seventh in a very strong field, however, we were not able to play our best and reach our full potential. The famous Southern California great weather did not show up for us these past couple days so we had some adjustments to make in order to play in the rain, hail and wind. It is always tough to play back-to-back tournaments and we learned that, but like I've said before, every experience is a learning one and now we know what we can improve for next time.
We also celebrated our Coach's birthday and had a very nice team dinner that our assistant coach's family hosted for us. It was nice to have that `family' atmosphere for a little bit, because with the spring being so busy, we are very often on the road.
ASU's tournament is next week and I'm excited that we are playing there because we have had some good tournaments there and it is always fun to play on `our enemies' course :). The field will be strong too, so this past week was a good one in order to learn what aspects we need to get stronger on.
Follow us next week at golfstatresults.com :) Until next time!
