TUCSON - Future member of the University of Arizona Wildcat women's golf team Janie Jackson collected the Alabama State High School Girl's Golf title on Tuesday, held at Grand National Golf Course in Auburn, Al.

Jackson won her third-straight state title by two strokes and with rounds of 70 and 77. She is ranked in the top 20 of the 2012 class. She is also an American Junior Golf Association tour winner. Jackson competed in the U.S. Junior Championships and made it to the final 16. She played in the 2011 Navistar LPGA in Alabama and made the cut, shooting a 67 in the second round. She also qualified for the Mobile Bay LPGA Classic in April.

Jackson announced her intent to play for Arizona during the signing period in November. She'll join the Wildcats as a true freshman in the fall of 2012.

Senior Margarita Ramos will play next at the NCAA Championships, as an individual, May 22-25.
