Softball Travels to Washington and No. 12 UCLA

TUCSON, Ariz. ?- The No. 2 Arizona softball team (31-4, 5-2 Pac-10) will travel to Washington and No. 12 UCLA this weekend.


On Friday the Wildcats will take on Washington at 1 p.m. PST in a game that will be tape-delay televised on FSN.


Last season the Cats suffered one loss to the Huskies on March 21, but got two wins against them on the road. This season, Washington is 1-5 in the Pac-10 and 19-14 overall.


Arizona will then head south to Los Angeles to take on No. 12 UCLA on Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. Saturday’s game will air on ESPNU and Sunday’s will be shown on ESPN.


Last season the Wildcats won both home matches against the Bruins, but lost to UCLA and Kiera Goerl on the road. This season the No. 12 Bruins are 20-10 overall and 1-4 in the Pac-10. This weekend’s series with Arizona and ASU will be UCLA’s first Pac-10 home stand.
