TUCSON, Ariz. - The University of Arizona athletics department will begin accepting football season ticket renewal orders and will open new season ticket sales to the public beginning on Saturday morning through the department's online ticketing system.
Season ticket holders have until May 3, 2010, to renew their tickets for the upcoming 2010 season, which includes one of the most attractive home schedules in school history. Games against Big 10 power Iowa, California (Family Weekend), Washington (Homecoming), USC and Arizona State headline the home slate that consists of seven total games.
Renewal statements for 2010 football season tickets and/or 2010-11 Wildcat Club charitable gifts (including men's basketball priority seating) will be posted online beginning Saturday, Jan. 23rd. Account holders with a current email address will receive an email on Saturday, Jan. 23rd, as a renewal reminder.
Fans who renew season tickets and pay the full balance online or select the online renewal payment plan option by Feb. 28 will receive several added benefits in addition to a season ticket holder gift. Those who order by the early Feb. 28 deadline will have the $10 service fee waived, and will receive a $15 Arizona Athletics gift certificate and a $10 credit to the Arizona Online Store (min. purchase required).
Arizona Athletics also is offering a renewal payment plan for season ticket holders. Fans can separate renewal payments into four equal installments that will be billed to the account once per month over a four-month period. The renewal payment plan is available for online renewals.
Season ticket holders who have not renewed tickets by Feb. 28 will be mailed a traditional renewal packet beginning the week of March 15. However, fans are strongly encouraged to renew tickets online to eliminate paper renewal mailings.
New season ticket sales also begin on Saturday. Fans who want to be a part of the action as the Wildcats challenge for the Pac-10 title can purchase tickets through the online system beginning on Saturday.
Arizona opens the 2010 season at Toledo on Sept. 4 before returning home for four-consecutive home games in a five-week period. The Wildcats, who have won 12 of their past 15 games at Arizona Stadium, welcome The Citadel for the home opener on Sept. 11, followed by Iowa (Sept. 18), California (Oct. 2) and Oregon State (Oct. 9).
